Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker

Job Description

Associates will be tasked with using RF gun technology to pick orders, pack orders, and prepare them for shipment. Employees will drive stock chasers around the distribution center to pick locations. They will pick orders and place items into totes, drive to the packing area, print slips, seal boxes, label them, and place them on the conveyor. The job is fast-paced, production-based, and repetitive, involving walking aisles and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use RF gun technology to pick orders, pack orders, and prepare them for shipment.

• Drive stock chasers around the distribution center to pick locations.

• Pick orders from walking-only aisles and place items into totes.

• Drive to the packing area, print slips, seal boxes, label them, and place them on the conveyor.

• Participate in daily team meetings and follow assigned duties.

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in picking orders.

• Perform receiving tasks such as inbound and put-aways.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced picking environment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

• Experience with RF Gun technology to locate orders and items.

• Experience with warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, taylordunn, EPJ) or fast-paced walking pick experience.

• Ability to perform manual tasks including bending, squatting, walking, lifting, and moving all day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to train on and operate a cherry picker.

• Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

This is the company’s second distribution center in Lebanon, part of a network of eight regional distribution centers. The facility is very clean and organized. Employees will operate equipment 30-40% of the time and perform manual picking, walking 8-10 miles per shift. The shift runs from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime is required at times but the goal is to keep a regular schedule. PPE required includes steel toe boots or shoes and work pants or jeans.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, Indiana.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
