About The Role:

As a CBRE Specialty Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for negotiating agreements for Retail Merchandising Units, temporary in-line spaces, and short-term activations in common areas.

This job is within the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead existing specialty leasing program. ensuring timely payments of rent. Verify sales reporting and certificates of insurance are accurate, up to date, and adhere to license agreement terms.

  • Guide the leasing deal flow process with prospective tenants, center operations, and corporate to achieve targeted opening dates.

  • Identify new kiosk, in-line, and Retail Merchandising Unit opportunities. Generate sufficient leasing activity to meet income goals.

  • Align with leasing and center management and the national accounts team to develop and maintain the property merchandising strategy for each center.

  • Focus on improving existing programs while assisting in the creation of new and varied programs that offer a fresh and inviting guest experience.

  • Negotiate all new deals, renewals, and amendments and prepare all documents.

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Mentor others and share knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several jobs within the function.

  • Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
