WSP USA Entry Level Construction Inspector in Lawrenceville, New Jersey
This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for an Entry Level Inspector for our Lawrenceville, New Jersey office.
Your Impact
Work on a construction site monitoring the Contractors Work
Communicate with Contractor’s Superintendent and Foreman
Monitor Field Construction Activities
Able to perform Field Inspection / documenting of construction activity
Able to work nights and weekend when necessary
Read, understand and interpret design plans and specifications (will Train)
Prepare quantity calculations and be able to track Time and Material (T&M) (will Train)
Prepare a daily report document work that has been performed, crew size, etc. (will Train)
Capable of understanding, reading and write English.
Inspect and document construction activities under clients policies and procedures
Familiar with the use of Microsoft office - word and excel.
Oversee safety and traffic control set up to ensure conformance with Plans and MUTCD (will Train)

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Will to work outside
No experience construction experience needed
Looking for reliable and ambitious and individual willing to learn on the job and take direct.
Needs to be motivated to learn and obtain required certification in Concrete, Asphalt, Safety, Traffic Control
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
