Prince Telecom is seeking a qualified Fiber Optic Repair and Maintenance Manager in the Raleigh, NC area!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary range: $55,000-$60,000
What you’ll do:
Manage the computing, completion, permitting, and billing aspects of Repair and Maintenance.
Supervise, coach, counsel and evaluate the coordinators and tech performance.
Communicate all project issues and concerns to the immediate manager in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure that employees are adhering to all safety requirements, regulations, and lead or assist in weekly Safety Meetings.
Listen and resolve employee issues and concerns quickly.
Manage company safety programs including Drive Cam.
Identify, monitor, address problem areas and customer service/quality control issues and complaints.
Establish workable quotes.
Resolving escalated customer concerns in a timely manner; educate employees associated with the issue to resolve such issues without escalation.
Responsible for P&L
Forecast projects, budgets and estimates.
Responsible for a team of supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Understands and demonstrates standard practices of Repair and Maintenance.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Satisfy pre-employment requirements (background, drug screen, MVR & Driving).
Supervisory experience in telecommunications is preferred.
Must be able to work a very flexible schedule including nights and weekends and on-call.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Team player.
