CIS Management, Inc. Full Charge Accountant in Lawernceville, New Jersey
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Perform monthly, quarterly and year end closings on accrual and US GAAP basis
Preparation of Financial Statements
Prepare and analyze operating statements
Budget analysis
Review and analyze current and future cash requirements for properties
Prepare operating budgets in conjunction with property managers
Perform balance sheet analysis/work papers
Prepare for yearly audit and tax filings
Joint venture reporting
Very close coordination with Property Managers
Knowledge of Property Management accounting software, experience with Yardi is a strong plus
Strong Word/ Excel skills
Perform all other duties as assigned

Experience

- Must have 1 - 3 years’ experience as a Full Charge Accountant.
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Experience as Accountant in Property Management a Plus
Solid understanding of accounts payable, receivables, cash management, intercompany accountant, and fixed asset accounting.
Ability to perform GAAP research for advanced accounting topics.
Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to work well independently as well as with others.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Yardi experience a plus.
Will consider candidates without property management accounting experience.
