Acosta Group Field sales and merchandising representative in Laval, Quebec
DESCRIPTION
As a Field Sales and merchandising Representative on the Shared Retail Sales Team, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by driving sales and distribution growth in your territory, representing our clients including Coca-Cola (Nutrition) Company, Campbell’s, and B&G Foods at grocery/mass stores.
The ideal candidate is committed to delivering results while thinking like an owner when managing all aspects of the territory including, but not limited, to securing case orders, building gold standard displays and securing distribution growth & documentation of results.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial spirited individual who is laser focused on growing the business at retail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You’d be a great fit if you have:
Sales experience
Retail Channel experience in grocery & mass preferred
Highly effective verbal communication skills
Ability to develop rapport and credibility with store managers
Effective presentation selling skills
Proficient with technology
Effective Knowledge of Microsoft office especially Excel
Experienced in territory management
Travel May be required
Must have exclusive access to a vehicle
Daily access to Internet and email to be able to complete administrative tasks including tracking, submitting call reports, and checking email regularly for new product info
Must have a computer/laptop with home internet
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
Must be able to store POS at home location.
QUALIFICATIONS
What your day-to-day looks like:
Superior execution of core program fundamentals such as: Sales, negotiating & building display, POP material, distribution of innovation & planograms compliance,
Negotiate Sales - selling in, call for orders, in-line orders and incremental retailer support for promotional programs
Displays- negotiating and building display on every other visit to each store.
Develop a positive working relationship with all key retail contacts
Execute and deliver retail coverage as per plan for efficient and effective call frequency and length
Resolve or escalate store level issues exhibiting a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Drive distribution on core items and new innovative sales objectives
