Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel, Maryland 20707. What you’ll do: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application Development Expert specializing in Oracle WAM (Work and Asset Management) to provide guidance and functional expertise for the installation, configuration, and support of Oracle WAM in an on-premises environment. This role requires someone who can assist with troubleshooting, system stability, and meeting client-specific requirements through customizations, process improvements, and enhancements. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, related web services, and optimize applications across all platforms. Lead teams to carry out project goals, support objectives, and operational tasks. Oversee code updates and contribute to designing, developing, testing, and releasing software. Create and maintain architectural and design documentation, including support documentation. Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, contractors) to translate business requirements into functional application specifications. Proactively find opportunities to improve user experience through deep understanding of end-to-end business processes. Design software solutions adhering to best practices. Develop customized database programs and integrations to enhance COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) products. Perform unit testing and aid with user acceptance testing. Follow change management procedures for migrating innovative solutions into production. Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring system stability. Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for resolving production issues. Collaborate with the IT team to deliver secure, prompt, and budget-friendly solutions. Mitigate security vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT Security and COTS vendors. Work with COTS vendors to support, maintain, and upgrade applications. Configure maintenance objects and business objects within Oracle WAM. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Oracle WAM, ensuring optimal performance. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. (Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience) Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with an advanced degree. Proven experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders or businesses. Expertise in SQL queries and database design. Experience in test-driven development (TDD). Strong knowledge of multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP, directory services, and network infrastructure. Experience in security protocols, dataflow management, and application architecture. Skilled in creating architecture diagrams and technical designs. Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Leadership skills to guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions. Preferred: Experience with utilities applications. Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. Advanced Degree. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
