Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel, Maryland 20707. What you’ll do: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM) & Cityworks Specialist to oversee the implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle WAM and Cityworks solutions for a leading water utility. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in asset management and work management within the utilities sector. This role will also involve leading the transition from legacy systems to Cityworks and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems such as EBS and ArcGIS. Responsibilities: Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle WAM and Cityworks for asset and work management, focusing on both vertical and linear assets. Guide the transition from a legacy system (MMIS) to Cityworks for managing field operations and linear assets (e.g., water pipelines, sewer systems). Integrate Oracle WAM and Cityworks with EBS (Materials Management and Procurement) and ArcGIS (Geospatial Services) to ensure a streamlined flow of data and real-time access to asset locations. Oversee the configuration and management of work orders, including customer-facing operations like turn-ons, shut-offs, and meter management through Oracle Mobile Work Management (MWM). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and deliver efficient solutions for asset lifecycle management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle WAM, Cityworks, and integrated systems to maintain optimal system performance and reliability. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, integration processes, and user guides. Provide training, support, and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on best practices for using Oracle WAM and Cityworks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for asset and work management processes. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. (Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience) Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with an advanced degree. At least 7 years of experience in Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM) or Cityworks within the utilities or public service sector. Proven experience in asset lifecycle management, and work order systems. Experience integrating Oracle WAM and Cityworks with other systems such as EBS and ArcGIS. Familiarity with mobile work management tools and customer-facing work order systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Experience in the water or wastewater utilities sector is a plus. Preferred: Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. Experience with geospatial data management and ArcGIS integration. Understanding of materials management and procurement in utilities operations. Knowledge of regulatory standards related to asset and work management in the utilities sector. Advanced Degree. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
