Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. Landscape Designer in Laurel, Maryland
Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect with 1 to 8 years of experience in detailed design and landscape architecture for our Laurel, Maryland office. The Landscape Designer assists with conceptual design studies, landscaping and site plans for new land development projects.
Responsibilities:
Design detailed landscape plans including irrigation, sediment, erosion control
Assists in conceptual planning and grading for new land development projects
Prepares construction documents, specifications, reports, and coordinate work with other design staffs
Understanding local jurisdictional requirements from comprehensive plans, to zoning codes, to detailed subdivision, landscape, and signage regulations/guidelines, including the ability to help craft modifications to these documents are a plus
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
Landscape Architecture Licensure not required
2+ years of experience in planning and landscape architectural design to include site layouts, landscape design and grading
Excellent written, graphic, and oral presentation communication skills
Fluency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
