SUMMARY: This position has an oversight over facilities at the property including internal and external areas of the Hotel/Casino. There is a heavy administrative focus on budgets, work assignments, vendor management and property maintenance. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the preventative maintenance program, energy conservation and capital refurbishments. Facilities Manager will obtain outside vendor bids and supervise the work therein.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manager plans and implements the operations of the Engineering Department and ensures the proper operation of all property systems, power, water, HVAC, sewer and building development required to give our Guests the best possible experience.
Responsible for interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes; handling employees complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.
