We are in the search for a Team Lead to join our team in the Non-Profit industry. Based in Latham, NY, this role offers a temp to perm contract employment opportunity, where the successful candidate will be primarily focused on customer service, leadership, problem-solving, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in work in a highly organized and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

· Ensures the team’s work is processed completely, accurately; correspondence is updated in a timely fashion; communication with customers as necessary

· Works to resolve escalated calls before requiring the Manager’s attention

· Covers workload of team staff when on leave

· Administers Records processing according to the policies and procedures for the team

· Contributes to review and drafting of policies and procedures

· Communicates daily with management and team.

· Researches and resolves problems as needed

· Has primary training responsibilities for all new team members and works on continued development for all team members

· Works on projects assigned by management and/or leadership staff

· Works with management to assess and develop goals for team members

· Participates in interviews as needed

· Reviews agreements for completion as needed

· In Manager’s absence, coordinates staff backup for review of new joinder agreements when needed

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Leadership skills with a track record of guiding teams

• Experience in Onboarding new employees

• Background in Non-Profit sector

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proficiency in using standard office software and applications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
