Rachel Miller at Robert Half is partnering with a client on an Accounts Receivable role in the Capital Region. This role involves managing accounts receivable processes, maintaining financial records, and ensuring the company's cash flow.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner.

• Accurately apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Generate aging reports and other accounts receivable reports as required.

• Initiate collection efforts on overdue accounts and manage the escalation process.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.

• Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle for efficient processing.

• Apply skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, and Microsoft Excel in performing tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of billing procedures

• Familiarity with cash applications

• Experience in cash collections and commercial collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle

• Knowledge of QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP

• Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Must demonstrate professional demeanor and represent the company in a positive manner.
