Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will schedule as an assistant to the TCT and IECT RN coordinators to ensure patients get through the cellular process in a timely manner, and will act as a liaison throughout the TCT and IECT work up process by coordinating all the required testing and scheduling of appointments with the intradisciplinary team

• You will receive referrals for all patients (transplant, IECT, Blood Cancers) and obtain all appropriate patient medical records needed for initial consult

• You will schedule and assist to coordinate appropriate appointments, testing and procedures for TCT patients

• You will collaborate with the inpatient, outpatient, apheresis and CTL departments to ensure appropriate documents/orders are available for the patient/donor at time of collection/admission

• You will be responsible for understanding the TCT and IECT timeline based on the treatment plan in order to ensure all required testing and evaluations are completed within the appropriate timeframe

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational/ Technical School, experience may be substituted for education

• 1+ years experience working in an outpatient healthcare setting

• 3+ years relevant experience preferred

• Must have strong time management and organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to interact professionally in stressful situations
