In this role, you will be responsible for sales and use tax return preparation, business licenses, personal property taxes and real estate taxes. Duties include monthly reporting and analysis for internal and external requests. Please by sending your resume today.

salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare & File (Multi State) Sales Tax, Franchise Tax, IFTA, Modified Business Tax, Property Tax, local business license revenue tax, etc.

• Assist in audits related to taxes

• Prepare reports related to taxes

• Assist external CPA firm with data collection related to federal and state income tax

• Prepare wire and check requests for payment of taxes

• Reconcile sales and use tax related accounts

• Register entities in new taxing jurisdictions

• Provide training to office and field personnel to insure proper sales/use tax accruals

• Respond to sales/use tax inquiries from internal and external parties, including auditors

• Monitor jurisdiction tax information for changes in tax laws and tax rates

• Research tax issues and work on special projects as needed

• Preparing personal property tax declarations
