Robert Half Senior Accountant in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

Robert Half is assisting a growing health services organization on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves preparing financial statements, mentoring accounting staff, conducting technical accounting research, and identifying process improvements. You’ll collaborate with management to maintain financial integrity while supporting other Accounting and Finance functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare financial statements & support month-end close processes

  • Review & reconcile accounts, ensuring GAAP compliance

  • Conduct financial analysis & prepare reports for management and board meetings

  • Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

  • Support audits, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting

  • Identify & implement process improvements for efficiency

  • Collaborate with finance teams to maintain accurate financial records

  • Other accounting related duties as assigned

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.

  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience in large corporate and/or public accounting

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & accounting systems

  • Strong GAAP knowledge & financial analysis skills

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team

  • Excellent problem-solving & project management abilities

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills
