Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital Patient/Lobby Coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Patient/Lobby Coordinator provides support to prospective patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders, supports a therapeutic setting and ensures the safety and well-being of prospective patients and visitors during entry at the Front Lobby. Provides oversight of lobby safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises prospective patients and visitors to ensure their safety and progression towards assessment and treatment.
Maintains a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for prospective patients and visitors.
Carries out clerical and administrative assignments to support prospective patients’ care and visitors.
Participates in maintaining the therapeutic setting of the lobby, enforces the CPI system or other methods of behavior management.
Helps identify prospective patients’ and visitors’ problems, needs and strengths
Provides proper oversite to prospective patients’ and visitors during entry into the Lobby.
Ensures restroom doors are always locked.
Provides and monitors access to restrooms, including Q5 checks while in use.
Communicates information regarding prospective patients' and visitor behavior to other members of team.
Monday - Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience with therapeutic limit-setting or other behavior management modalities helpful
Ability to maintain professional boundaries
