Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department

• You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures and hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives

• You will manage nursing practice and unit operations and provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience

• You will identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams, provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance

• You will assume responsibility for resolving and/ or channeling employee grievances, disputes, or concerns according to appropriate procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, and is required within two years of hire/ promotion

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required

• 2+ years applicable experience required

• Currently license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required
