WSP USA Manager, Inclusion and Diversity in Las Vegas, Nevada

WSP is currently initiating a search for Manager, Inclusion and Diversity. This position can be based out of any WSP US office location.

As a key member of our Human Resources team, the Manager, Inclusion and Diversity will be a strategic subject matter expert who champions and contributes to a culture of inclusion, diversity & equity. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be accountable for the ongoing development of our inclusion, diversity & equity strategy, and will actively advise and work with the business, Human Resources, and other internal teams to bring the strategy to life through execution.

Specific accountabilities will be to:

  • Supports the development and implementation of a comprehensive IDE strategy that guides the organization through a thoughtful journey, meeting people where they are and driving toward a leading future state position. US IDE strategy is aligned to the global IDE strategic aims.

  • Work with the internal teams (Global I&D, US HR, I&D Council, DPN) to build diversity focused action plans and outcome based measurements. Collaborate with these teams to integrate I&D principles into various processes to ensure our people have the right access to resources and learning to build their awareness and understanding.

  • Work with Talent Development to promote awareness in an effort to build a IDE focused learning curriculum that integrates with our overall learning strategy and continually builds the awareness and skillsets of inclusive colleagues and leaders.

  • Collaborate with Talent Development to ensure the inclusion lens is applied to all learning.

  • Actively collaborate with Talent Acquisition in the identification of diverse talent pools and partnerships that facilitate the identification of diverse talent. Ensure that hiring practices and approaches are inclusive.

  • Work closely with HR compliance to monitor trends in EEO investigations and Affirmative Action reporting. Suggest actions and changes to improve outcomes.

  • Partner with our Reporting & Analytics team to build insightful reporting and dashboards to measure and track our progress. You will also need to leverage those insights to help others share our story with our people.

  • Work with our Human Resources COE leaders to prioritize and progress operational improvements that support diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (i.e., recruitment practices, compensation practices, inclusive benefits, tools, policies).

  • Lead and facilitate engagement with our employee resource groups. Work closely within these networks to ensure they have the support required to make a difference.

  • Proactively scan the market for best practices and trends in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

  • Build the ongoing communication strategy along with our Communications team to build awareness around IDE events including celebrating days of significance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, inspire and influence the mindset of others

  • Proven ability to both develop and execute on strategy with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ type approach to their work.

  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to coach others on sensitive or uncomfortable diversity related topics.

  • Exceptional understanding of change management principles with proven, practical application

  • Proven ability to collaborate with people of all levels and expertise with strong executive presence, facilitation, logical structuring and communication skills.

  • Strong desire to always learn and educate on IDE including networking, professional associations, partnerships.

  • Excellent client service orientation, both externally and internally

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and adapt to change.

  • Holds a desire to learn from others with an ability to build awareness in others.

  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs, issues and risks and take the appropriate action(s)

  • 7 -10 years of progressive HR experience related to culture, engagement, program development or change management, with at least 5 years of diversity experience. Experience ideally from a professional services environment.

  • Bachelors degree in Business, HR or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $86,700 - $154,330

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $86,700 - $144,870
