Robert Half Learning & Development Coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

We are in search of a Learning & Development Coordinator to become a part of our team in the hospitality industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Learning & Development Coordinator, your role will be crucial in handling benefits-related inquiries, maintaining employee benefit records, and ensuring compliance with benefits legislation. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manages administrative duties including but not limited to fielding department inquiries via phone and email, online data entry, filing, reports, tracking completion hours, and training class material preparation.

  • Responds quickly to all administrative and systems requests for the training rooms and HR support offices.

  • Partners with the Training Manager to ensure smooth operation of training rooms and offices by responding to training requests and monitoring office materials supply levels.

  • Processes purchase requisitions, check requests, and expense reports.

  • Responds to requests from the Training Manager and Operations employees regarding reservations, room set-up, maintenance and the daily operations of all Learning & Development training space.

  • Co-manages projects management of large learning events.

  • Supports and assists with other department special projects and activities as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.

  • Provides outstanding internal guest service in a timely manner to class participants, HR partners and Learning & Development team.

  • Possess strong administrative, organizational, and prioritizing skills.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to operate standard office equipment.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

  • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

  • Must model the ideal professional and polished appearance required by company guidelines.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in hotel-related operational positions.
