Robert Half Helpdesk Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Manager to lead our client's IT support team, with a focus on managing and supporting hospitality and gaming applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with the gaming industry, and the technical expertise to ensure that all systems run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the helpdesk team, ensuring high levels of customer service and support.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to helpdesk staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

  • Develop and implement helpdesk policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of all support tickets, with a focus on issues related to casino and gaming applications.

  • Work closely with other IT departments to coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of gaming-related software and hardware.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to gaming and casino application issues.

  • Collaborate with casino operations and other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on helpdesk performance, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in gaming technology and ensure the team is trained on new tools and applications.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Helpdesk Manager or in a similar leadership role within the gaming or casino industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of casino and technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of IT service management and helpdesk operations.
