Insight Global Data Analyst in Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst with over 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance (QA), strong communication skills to work effectively with both engineering and data teams, and experience with kiosk point of sales and hospitality systems. The role involves identifying data variances and providing actionable insights to improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful insights.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct data quality checks and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.

Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering and data teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Data Variance Identification:

Identify and investigate variances and anomalies in data.

Develop strategies to address and mitigate data variances.

Kiosk and Hospitality Systems:

Leverage experience with kiosk and hospitality systems to enhance data analysis processes.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data from these systems.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on QA and data variance identification.

Strong experience with kiosk and hospitality systems.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. null
