Job Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance, stocking and cleanliness of the bar, and all other functions which increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team.
Essential Functions:Stay informed of current menu items and descriptionsHandle side duties including: stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including lifting/moving up to 25lbs.Clean and assist maintaining bar equipmentPerform opening/running/closing side duties according to HOB policyPut all trash and recyclable products in proper receptaclesSeparate glass, cardboard, and plastics per local codesOperate trash compactor per procedures policyEnsure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and HOB alcohol policiesEnsure that trash containers are clean, free of odor and linedMaintain HOB safety and sanitation standardsPar all ice bins to the fullest levels at all timesPar all bars per venue specificationsRecord maintenance problems/issues in bar log or work ordersRequired: Ability to work late hoursFlexible scheduleSkills in interpersonal communication and teamworkTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsTAM CertPreferred: 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environmentExperience recognizing valid ID’sExperience in a live music environmentPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet both indoors or outdoorsMust be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
