Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the real estate property and facilities management industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves processing vendor invoices, maintaining vendor records, and resolving vendor inquiries. The specialist will also be tasked with monitoring vendor accounts and initiating appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct efficient and accurate processing of vendor credit applications

• Generate and review weekly accounts payable aging reports

• Oversee the processing of vendor payments

• Manage automatic recurring payments

• Effectively communicate with vendors and internal personnel

• Prepare journal entries for posting to correct identified errors

• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Allocate expenses across multiple legal entities using various methodologies

• Maintain vendor W-9 records and process end of year 1099

• Participate in month-end accounting close, preparing and processing accounting transactions and general ledger account reconciliations related to accounts payable

• Generate financial reports as requested and assist the accounting and administration team as needed. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong data entry skills - including allocating expenses across multiple legal entities

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing procedures

• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks (pivot tables, lookups, formulas etc.)

• Familiarity with MS office (and specifically MS excel)

• Background in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is preferred
