[New Mexico State Universitys Global Campus seeks multiple Global Immigration Advisors to serve as Designated School Officials (DSOs) and Alternate Responsible Officers (AROs), interpreting and complying with regulations established by the Departments of Homeland Security and State for F and J visa holders. Responsibilities include advising F-1 and J-1 students on compliance with immigration regulations, maintaining student immigration records in SEVIS, providing orientation and immigration advising to visiting J-1 Scholars, and collaborating with the Director on complex immigration matters. Additionally, Global Immigration Advisors will contact new international students for necessary documents issuance, advise academic departments on J-1 Scholars' sponsorship process, manage student information in Banner, administer international student scholarships, and act as a resource for the International Club.
