Description

We are on the lookout for a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Pinellas Park, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, your main duties will revolve around cost accounting, financial reporting, and inventory analysis. You'll also be involved in month-end and year-end close processes and the preparation of annual budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out cost accounting tasks with precision and efficiency

• Conducting in-depth inventory analysis for accurate record keeping

• Preparing detailed variance reports to identify cost variances

• Managing month-end and year-end close processes accurately and in a timely manner

• Producing comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review

• Developing and maintaining annual budgets to ensure financial health

• Reconciling account balances and bank statements

• Making journal entries as needed to ensure accurate accounting records

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes

• Maintaining a general ledger and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements

• Manufacturing is a must

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Demonstrated skills in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Mastery of General Ledger management

• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
