ASRC Industrial Services Construction Foreman with AIS Infrastructure in Laredo, Texas

ABOUT

The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four civil/vertical construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, vertical construction, site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to company safety standards and protocols.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors.

Plan and schedule work activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.

High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification is a plus).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

Familiarity with relevant construction software and tools.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and software.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS

Work is primarily conducted outdoors at construction sites.

Exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards.

Physical demands include lifting, standing, and operating heavy machinery.

May require flexible work hours and occasional travel.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical requirements may include lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, and working in various weather conditions.

Mental demands may include managing multiple tasks, making decisions under pressure, and handling stressful situations.
