Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking an onsite technician for a full-time warehouse worker position. This role requires individuals to be available for the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with two Saturdays on and one Saturday off for the rest of the year. During weeks when Saturday work is needed, employees will work on Saturday but will have another day off during the week. Compensation will be provided accordingly if required to work Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
Make waste/trash pickups throughout the customer's facility, including cardboard, plastic, and metal scraps.
Operate mobile equipment.
Move and empty trash gondolas in the plant.

Hazardous material handling
HAZWOPER certification
Forklift operation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience is preferred (training will be provided if necessary).
OSHA 40 training is preferred (training will be provided if necessary).

Work Environment
The position is located at the General Motors Delta facility, which is a busy and noisy environment. Employees are required to wear safety boots (steel-toe or composite), and all other necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Candidates must be able to pass a bg check, drug screening, and physical examination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50
