The Role

The Project Manager is the primary point of contact for SASE Solution orders that includes Dedicated Internet Access, SDWAN, Security and SASE. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for tracking order status, communicating updates to the customer and coordinating install and activations of SASE solution including the transport component. A successful Sr Project Manager will coordinate with cross functional teams and manage timelines for an on-time install while addressing any issues or risks that arise.

The Main Responsibilities

• Primary Point-of-Contact through Service Delivery for SASE Product orders.

• Manage implementation of a SASE Solution including the install and activation of a Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) transport and SD-WAN/Security component.

• Accountable for timely project completion and delivery.

• Develops project progress and status reports for customer.

• Coordinate and facilitate solutioning calls with customer and design engineers.

• Effectively communicates order status, risks and issues to customers to prevent escalations by presenting options and recommendations for resolution.

• Validate Planning scope and set accurate project milestones. Work with all project stakeholders to drive towards timely milestone completion.

• Provide program management of major initiatives and prepare executive level presentations or written reports.

• Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of Transport, SD-WAN and SASE products & service from both a functionality and operations perspective.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of related experience

• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: SD-WAN, Transport, Internet, MPLS, Managed Services, Voice (PRI, SIP, Porting, etc.), Security, Managed Enterprise Services, Meraki.

• Basic telecommunications technical knowledge.

• Understanding data networking like IP addresses, NAT, routing and WAN/LAN.

• Ability to communicate effectively and strong customer communication skills

• Ability to partner with Sales and Design Engineer functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.

• Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective but also from an operations/set up perspective and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience.

Preferred:

• 4+ years of direct project management experience

• Experience with CRMs and SOMs like Salesforce and ServiceNow.

• Passionate and innovative with a proven track record of success; an action-oriented, strategic, and creative thinker with a detailed focus on implementation and on-going execution of training programs in the field.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$63,980 - $85,300 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$67,340 - $89,780 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$70,710 - $94,270 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$74,070 - $98,760 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
