If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a | | | | strong commitment to patient care, this role is for you. | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | JOB REQUIREMENTS | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | As an Athletic Trainer with Sparrow Medical Group Orthopedics | | | | and Sports Medicine, you will be an essential part of our | | | | clinical team, providing direct support to providers and | | | | patients. Your role will include educating patients and their | | | | caregivers on exercise programs, applying splints and casts, | | | | fitting braces, and providing patient coordination duties. You | | | | will work closely with Orthopedic Surgeons, Physician | | | | Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners to ensure that our patients | | | | receive the highest level of care. Additionally, you will help | | | | promote our services to the greater Lansing area and may work at | | | | varying orthopedic sites to meet the needs of our providers. | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | JOB DUTIES | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | | | | | | | | | - Certification: Certified Athletic Trainer through the | | | | National Athletic Trainers Association. | | | | - Licensure: Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of | | | | Michigan. | | | | - Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or | | | | Physical Education/Health from an accredited program. | | | | - Experience: Preferred experience in an athletic | | | | department or orthopedic office setting. | | | | - Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, | | | | ability to multitask, and adapt to changing work situations. | | | | Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records is preferred. | | | | | | | | | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | JOB FOOTER | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Join the dynamic team at University of Michigan Health -- | | | | Sparrow, where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of | | | | athletes and patients in our community.
