Job Description

This is a technical position required to maintain, develop, test, and implement IT software and solutions across Print and Mail Management (PMM). This employee will be the liaison for users within all state agencies looking to utilize any printing or mailing services. This position will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the automated data processing and inserting system utilized by PMM. The employee will be responsible for assisting in the development of specifications for hardware and software configurations, test programs/data, prepare and maintain instructional procedures, and provide technical support to staff and users within the State of Michigan. This position will also work with staff to enhance and expand the on-line ordering system software used by PMM to provide customers with easy access to print and mail services. The employee will be responsible for scheduling meetings and setting up common interest group seminars that would educate these various state agencies on the capabilities of PMM.

Vacation and Sick Leave:Eligible full-time employees receive between15 and 35 personal daysand 13 sick daysper year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.

Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
