Kelly Services HR Systems Tech Support - Temporary Opportunity in Lansing, Michigan

Job Summary:

The HR Systems Technical Support reports to the HRIS Manager and provides technical and functional support for the Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions such as the College’s ERP, applicant tracking and onboarding, interactive electronic forms, website maintenance, report writing, and SharePoint site maintenance. The candidate must possess a high level of analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Create, update, and maintain project documentation, business requirements, system specifications, user manuals or instructions, and training materials of assigned systems.

  • Serve as a technical support for functional users including, HR staff, timekeepers, supervisors, and others using workforce data

  • Perform troubleshooting by analyzing and testing in Banner systems, Applicant Tracking, Argos, Dynamic Forms, Faculty Pay System, SharePoint, and other systems as assigned.

  • Assist and coordinate the design and maintenance of the Human Resources department web content.

  • Under the direction of the HRIS Manager, research and analyze system modifications and participate in interdepartmental systems projects, upgrades, testing, maintenance, and implementations.

  • Serving as a technical resource for functional users or enterprise systems within the HR department providing timely communication and discussion with functional users about the impact of necessary changes

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional requirements, and support continual improvement. Review functional specifications with appropriate team members.

  • Serve as a technical resource for users requiring HR systems access, reporting solutions, or other systems related inquires.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience with information management systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in information technology, human resources, payroll or other heavily regulated industry.

  • Demonstrated experience working in data analysis or report writing.

Preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Banner HR System or other Human Capital Management operating system, relational databases.
