Role Overview:

Full Stack Developer

  • Design and development of new features on the Endpoint Security (ENS) Real Protect cloud solution space which drives growth and revenue to the company.

  • Design and development of new security features on the cloud which includes but not limited to machine learning based solutions such as Real Protect and on-premise offerings such as ePO, Endpoint Security (HX).

  • Design, coding, testing, bug fixing, code refactoring, code review and automation of new features.

  • Monitor and resolve product performance issues and memory footprint issues to improve the customer experience.

  • Sustenance of released versions of the products by resolving field issues which includes root cause analysis, bug fixing, automation and participating in maintenance release cycle.

  • Participate in product release roadmap, educating and training other teams like documentation, sustenance and product support teams.

  • Lead research tasks and innovation by working with subject matter experts and product roadmap plans.

  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.

  • Actively participate in the grooming the user stories for the future sprints. Interview candidates on technical skillset and provide recommendation to manager.

  • Mentoring interns, junior team members on design, review and implementation.

  • Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science and Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field and 5 years of progressive experience as Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, Software Engineering Intern, or related.

  • In the alternative, Employer will accept a Masters in Computer Science, Data Science and Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field and 2 years of experience as Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, Software Engineering Intern, or related.

  • 1 year must include experience with (1) Node.js, (2) Python, (3) NodeJS Front-end / Backend Frameworks, (4) Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as PolymerJS/VueJS/ReactJS, (5) with relational database systems such as Cassandra/ MySQL/ Postgres etc., (6) NoSQL database systems such as Aerospike, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis or similar, (7) AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, ECR, (8) designing products with web technologies that support cybersecurity products, (9) Experience designing web technologies for EDR/XDR solutions, (10) distributed systems, (11) Kubernetes, and (12) working / designing native cloud applications systems at scale.
