As a trusted recruitment partner, we present you an exciting opportunity as a Controller - This is a great next step opportunity for a Staff/Senior Accountant or Analyst with at least 2 years of progressive manufacturing industry experience. For over a decade, we have had the privilege of successfully placing five candidates with this client. Our recent placement's promotion has resulted in this opening and now, it could be your turn! This position offers a hybrid work model that includes 2 days a week in-office and 3 days a week REMOTE work. The successful Controller candidate will be reporting to a supportive 20-year experienced veteran, known for their "available-for-all" approach to leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant-level accounting functions, including standard costing.

• Participate in the strategic decision-making process of the plant's operations.

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results.

• Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting data to help the leadership with decision-making processes.

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecast.

• Establish, monitor, evaluate and interpret data on economic trends and developmental costs to aid management in budget formulation and other fiscal planning.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, regulations, and laws.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• A proficient understanding of standard costing.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
