Our client is is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Foreman to join our Lansing MI team. As a Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for hard surface restoration. This involves restoring concrete surface areas such as roads, curbs, ADA ramps, and sidewalks to their original pre-construction state after utility system improvements or other civil construction that required excavation took place. This is a year-round position. When concrete work isn’t feasible due to the weather, you will be trained to do underground construction. You will also have some soft surface restoration work (restoring lawns and yards), but hard surface restoration will be the priority.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and supervise restoration projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines

-Coordinate with managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution

-Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management

-Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations

-Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents

-Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process

Experience:

• Minimum of five years’ concrete construction experience, specifically in concrete restoration.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or technical training are preferred.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Proficient in operating heavy equipment and using construction tools.

• OSHA/safety training preferred

• CDL-A preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
