This faculty member will be responsible for the instruction of Robotics, Programmable Logic Controller, and Mechatronics classes. The individual should have experience in troubleshooting automated systems and be able to develop classroom materials that utilize best practices and web technologies to deliver instruction. The ideal candidate will have current, relevant industry experience and understand the changing direction of automated technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following skill sets: • Mechanical Systems (Belt, Chain, Gear Drives) • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance • AC/DC Electrical Theory • Sensor Technology • Solid State Electrical Troubleshooting • Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers • Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers • Motor Operation, Control and Troubleshooting • Fanuc Robot Programming • ABB Robot Programming • Electro-pneumatics and Electro-hydraulics • Control System Architecture
