Are you a strategic Servant-Leader? Do you value leading and inspiring your teams?  #CAES is seeking a TEMPORARY Sr. Director of IT Operations. This is a key leadership position who will direct the teams in charge of cloud services, unified communications, network services, data center operations, servers and storage platforms, service monitoring, and service desk. This reports into the CIO and works closely with IT and InfoSec leaders, including enterprise architecture, information security and application development, to design and execute on the company's technology roadmap. The role is a forward-looking technology leader who can develop an infrastructure strategy and drive through to execution and support. The Ultimate Vice President of IT Infrastructure is a member of the IT senior leadership team, and reporting to the CIO, the VP of Infrastructure and Operations is an influential role, making investment and priority trade-off decisions, negotiating and managing vendor contracts, and recruiting, retaining, and developing high performing teams. The role will provide vision and leadership to a team.  This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities

Partner with senior management to establish a robust information technology roadmap and the company's technology infrastructure vision, system architecture and lead all aspects of the company's technological planning and development Create and implement technology strategies and align to the business and IT strategy Align the company's technology resources with the organization's short- and long-term goals Serve on the IT leadership to align technology goals to other departmental and organizational goals Proactively identify gaps, risks and issues and navigates organizational structure to resolve them Mentor and lead a team that is extraordinarily customer-centric, delivers business value and is well respected within CAES Ensures corporate infrastructure and services are secure, scalable, flexible and compliant by creating and working with technology team and InfoSec to implement a robust business security plan Supporting engineering teams Lead technical support efforts for partners and internal stakeholders Discovering and implementing new technologies that yield competitive advantage Attracting, retaining and developing high caliber talent across the IT Infrastructure and operations team Supervising system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency Building quality assurance, data protection and disaster recovery processes Develop succession plans, personal development goals, training and Leadership to the Infrastructure and Operations team Create and oversee high-level KPIs for IT Infrastructure and Operations Monitoring KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance Handle vendor relationships with all IT and Infrastructure suppliers Establish SLAs with technology partners and vendors Perform acquisition integration and due diligence as needed Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field. 10 + years of dynamic IT Infrastructure leadership experience. 7 + years of experience and a track record of building and managing strong IT teams. Knowledge of CMMC, ITAR, NIST. This position requires access to tec nology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). The ability to gain and maintain Active Secret Clearance. Preferred: Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role. Aerospace/Defense experience a plus! Extensive experience with cloud-based infrastructure like AWS. Experience with modern web development languages: Python, JVM, Angular.js, React.js. Knowledge and experience developing security and data protection best practices. Understanding of budgets and business-planning. Salary Range: $196,000 to 219,000 annually.  Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate
