YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on assembly equipment, including wire bonders, epoxy die-attach machines, eutectic stations, pull testers, plasma cleaner, parallel gap welders, hot plates, ovens, pick & place machines, furnaces and other miscellaneous MIC assembly equipment. Outsource repair work in specialty areas; maintain spare parts inventory for MIC assembly equipment including service documentation, tooling, assembly equipment spare parts and equipment storage; order spare parts and tools as necessary. Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to identify root cause of problem and then complete required repair. May be requested to work hours outside of standard work day possibly to include weekends. Be on-call 1 week at a time, several times a year. Work with engineering to identify required maintenance for machines. Maintain preventative maintenance logs and detailed records of repairs completed. Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacement items as needed. Qualifications
HOW TO SUCCEED Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or GED required. Ability to respond to emergency calls for equipment repair Minimum 5 years related experience completing maintenance on machines OR successful completion of Jr. College or Technical School coursework directly related to equipment maintenance Basic understand of MS Office products and comfort using computers Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) Preferred Qualifications: 4-6 years related experience completing maintenance on machines. Excellent mechanical aptitude and root cause problem solving skills. Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and equipment manuals. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently. Positive and flexible attitude dealing with changing priorities and a wide variety of machines and production areas. Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in problem solving when process problems arise. Helpful and collaborative attitude when working with assemblers, other technicians and process engineers. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas. Salary Range: Principal Equipment Maintenance Technician: $34.29 to $42.35 an hour. Applicable pay within the osted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
