Job summary:
The Global Delivery Leader is a highly visible and influential role in the Supply Chain team and will report to the Global Supply Chain Director. The role ensures the master schedule is balanced within capacity and strategies over the 0-3 month window with emphasis on 1-3 month horizon. It will ensure the execution of intercompany movements is well balanced and timely to meet the needs of the business. This role will manage one (1) direct scheduler while providing influential leadership to site production planners across all sites, globally.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide influential leadership to site production planners based on the master production schedule of 0-3 months
Determine available capacity before planned orders are released
Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan Collaborates with procurement and raw material planner to periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of equipment and staff as needed to meet delivery dates Alerts appropriate functions of master schedule changes or delays Run and controls MRP in order to guarantee the required production flexibility and reach the targeted inventory levels and available capacity for MTO strategies Ensures the balance of the master schedule across plants and business with communication of constraints and feedback to the commercial team Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for problem solving obtaining results Analyze production data and identify trends for process improvements Manage On-Time In Full (OTIF), response time, and lead time Accountable for inventory stock transfer/replenishment responsibilities Place intercompany orders for stock within the abc/xyz inventory analysis Suggest and implement continuous improvement activities to improve the flow of stock and reduce supply chain costs to all businesses and implement initiatives Managing the supply forecast and ordering relationship with the procurement team, the inventory team, and the warehouses Track inventory levels of Finished goods, components, WIP and raw materials to ensure they stay within planned levels.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in technical or related field. MBA preferred
Skills and Experience:
• 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related Operations field required.
• Related industry knowledge preferred (Aerospace, Semiconductor, Thermoplastics, Elastomers)
• Demonstrated relationship building with manufacturing management, supervision, business group team members, corporate and executive team members, customers, suppliers, registrars, auditors, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels including executive management required
Proficient in SAP, Excel and visibility dashboards (such as Qlik, Tableau, etc)
Ability to analyze data, trends and variability
Strong organizational skills to coordinate activities and align teams across functions
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority
Skilled in change management or shifts in supply chain strategy such implementing new technologies or processes
Experience in risk management and developing mitigation strategies
