Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly, Repair, and Troubleshooting Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assembly, repair, and troubleshooting of truck-mounted concrete boom pumps.

• Operating concrete pumps and performing hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

• Testing parts and components, and troubleshooting mechanical parts.

• Assembling the body of trucks and concrete boom attachments.

• Assembling pipes, flanges, toolboxes, steps, and various parts for the pumps on the trucks.

• Ensuring the correct fitting of all parts.

• Running airlines, removing/assembling fuel tanks.

• Using hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools to fit different parts into a single product.

• Reading and understanding blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Reading a tape measure to the closest 1/16”.

• Fieldwork 1-2 weeks per month.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

• 4-5+ years of mechanic experience in a heavy industrial setting.

• Ability to read production drawings and a tape measure.

• Own set of tools.

• Ability to travel in Canada and the US.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.

• Experience in the assembly of concrete pumps.

• Sandblasting, industrial paint, or polishing experience.

Soft Skills:

• Customer-focused.

• Ability to multitask and work independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

Shift: Day and Afternoon Shifts available: Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 1:30am * days as well*

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
