Job Title: Lead Electrician

$50/hr

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Lead Electrician for a new warehouse facility build in Campbell Heights, Surrey. The ideal candidate will start within the first couple weeks of September. Initially, you will work as a Lead Hand on the tools, but within a couple of months, you will transition to managing the project and the team. You will still be expected to assist on the tools when needed.

Hard Skills

• 2 years’ experience as a lead hand

• Commercial experience – specifically any warehouses, UPS/Amazon or fulfillment type facilities

• 6-7 years’ experience within the electrical construction space

• Comfortable with heights – must have lift tickets

• Vehicle (no transit out to Campbell Heights)

• Experience bending and installing EMT conduit

• Read and interpret layout drawings

• Experience running crews of up to 10 people

• Task planning effectively with daily and weekly plans

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Surrey, British Columbia.

Work Environment

• Wage: $50/hour.

• Project: UPS facility, currently 3 weeks into the electrical work, expected to go until March/April 2025 (if no delays).

• Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm (30 mins unpaid lunch – 8 hour paid days).

• You will start by leading 3-4 people, with potential to lead 7-8 people as the project ramps up.
