Summary/Objective :

P roactively manage projects while maintaining overall project profitability and a high level of customer service . U tilize the p roject management p rocess (SPI) while providing departmental support.

Essential Functions

  • Communicate shipping updates to the customer weekly, at a minimum.

  • Notify necessary parties of changes, errors, or exceptions.

  • Review each project with Quotations Specialist to understand scope of work and project requirements .

  • Communicate directly with customers to review project including details, exceptions, and completion date.

  • Release orders in JMS detailing any exceptions including freight.

  • Maintain Purchase Order financial worksheet to ensure proper project closeout and maximize profitability .

  • Create ship schedule following the p rocess making sure to include all Bills of Material.

  • Maintain communication with Outside Sales and the customer.

  • Send customer ship schedule with notes of ‘Hold for Release ’.

  • Work with operations regarding logistics for managing jobs.

  • Participate in joint sales calls to understand customer needs.

  • Market project management capabilities internally and externally.

  • Manage financials, run invoice register, reconcile, and update customer.

  • Request Record Drawings from Manufacturer or Rep.

  • Process O & M per Purchase Order requirements.

  • Participate in pre-job and project review meetings.

  • Attend vendor classes and factory visits.

  • Engage in Lifelong Learning activities and meet yearly requirements.

  • Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
