Plexxis Software General Maintenance Labourer - Victoria BC (Only Island Residents Qualify) in Langford, British Columbia
All successful candidates are required to reside within commuting distance of our Langford/Victoria office location. Plexxis does not offer remote work opportunities.
Position Title: General Maintenance Labourer
Reports to: Sr. Leader of Operations
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Location: Victoria, BC
Salary: $62,500.00
Purpose:
General Maintenance Labourer will play a critical role in the maintenance and general condition of the property with regards to the functionality and upkeep of the space designated for Plexxis Software, all common areas within the building, and other designated properties. The position requires strong communication skills, technical skills for work with various control systems, and the ability to work both independently and part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities (Prior experience is NOT required, as training will be provided):
Perform maintenance duties, including the following:
Installation, care and maintenance of all appliances within the designated office space (fridges, dishwashers etc.)
General Maintenance Requests related to building equipment & supplies.
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Ensure proper care in the use/maintenance of equipment (i.e Gym equipment)
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Maintain, diagnose and repair (if possible) building control systems (HVAC, Door Controls etc.)
Other Requirements:
Work in a team environment at the Plexxis West Coast Branch (Victoria, British Columbia)
Maintaining a positive, professional attitude & constant team/mission support
Welcomes challenges and embraces changes that can occur in day to day responsibilities.
Strong communication & organizational skills
Reliable
Ability to work after hours/weekends (if needed)
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
