The City of Lanett has an opening in the Administrative Offices for a Building Inspector
Preferred Qualifications
:
Experience in building inspections with educational training of said job. Investigations and law violations with ability to enforce all City of Lanett Codes and Ordinances. Experience in planning, and regulation of Business Licenses.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Social Security Card, valid drivers license with a commendable driving record. Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and physical exam. Must have verbal skills to communicate with the public and co-workers. Ability to maintain accurate records with knowledge and use of a computer. Be willing to travel throughout the City and surrounding areas and be willing to attend training sessions, workshops and seminars. Willing to work nonstandard hours.
