Wyoming Life Resource Center Senior Nurse Infection Control in Lander, Wyoming
Develop and maintain an effective system-wide infection prevention and control program for the facility. Gather and analyze infection data, facts, and trends and communicate this information to other healthcare staff. Provide training and education to medical and non-medical staff on prevention techniques and practices. Preferences:
- Preference may be given to applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three (3) or more years of experience in infection control and prevention.
- Infection Control Certification (CIC) is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: *Bachelor's Degree (typically in Nursing) *Experience: *1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Nurse *Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: *Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming *OR Education & Experience Substitution: *4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Nurse *Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming
