Metallurgical Engineering Intern - 112433

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We're currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as a Metallurgical Engineering Intern. This intern position is Full-Time with a minimum 12-week assignment for the upcoming summer from mid-May to mid-August. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary as well as a monthly housing stipend. This position will be based at our Lancaster,PAlocation (see location-specific information below).

Primary Responsibilities  * Support Product Metallurgical Engineers with current projects and initiatives  * Attend all meetings with the Metallurgical & Quality Systems (MQS) team as well as Product Metallurgical Engineering mentor  * Participate in designated projects as well as day to day aspects of metallurgical work at the Lancaster, PA facility

Key Objectives  * A successful candidate should possess:  * Aptitude for problem-solving  * Strong written and verbal communication skills  * Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment  * Willingness to take initiative to understand the business

Basic Qualifications  * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026  * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position  * 3.0 GPA and above  * Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity (school club, part-time employment, etc.

Preferred Qualifications  * Prior work experience or previous internship  * Previous successful experience as an active member of a team  * Excellent written and verbal communication skills  * Experience with Microsoft Office
