Eurofins Extractables & Leachables Group Leader in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

  • Perform both technical and personnel aspects of group operations

  • Performing work within the department or other areas as required

  • Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter to specific department, make recommendations for operational and/or technical improvements

  • Communicate effectively within the group

  • Coach and develop direct reports, plan and monitor workflow, monitor data and support departmental MOS

  • Demonstrate and strengthen leadership qualities

  • Responsible for the direct management of the non-leadership employees in the department

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Chemistry or related science with minimum of years’ relevant experience. 

  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

  • Additional Preferences:

  • MS or PhD in chemistry or related science.

  • Experience operating either LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-OES, or ICP/MS systems. 

  • Experience in a cGMP, GLP, and/or ISO 17025 compliant/accredited lab.

  • Experience performing/managing extractables and leachable studies.

  • Polymeric experience/education.

  • Experience performing or managing method development and validation.

  • Experience performing investigations into the identity of unknown compounds.

  • Self confidence, leadership, ability to reason, make sound decisions, delegate work, display empathy and sensitivity towards others.

     

Positions are full-time, working (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm), overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
