Staffing Service USA Experienced Tax Processor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

This is an on-site, full time position located in Lancaster, PA.
The Tax Processor is responsible for the following:
- Interpret tax laws and rules to provide customer service via phone, website, or in-person, delivering timely and accurate information.
- Process individual, employer, and real estate forms and data.
- Update computerized records systems.
- Generate correspondence, receipts, certifications, and other tax information as requested by customers.
- Handle daily mail.
- Manage unclaimed checks and refund check printing as necessary.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Post payments in Electronic Payment Processing.
- Provide customer support for web-based applications.
- Develop professional goals and meet deadlines.
- Handle cash and credit card payments.
- Balance and reconcile real estate accounts.
- Collect and deposit checks through the internal banking system.
- Post payments using Electronic Payment Processing or Manual Deposit entry.
- Analyze and manipulate data for proper posting to accounts.
- Use notices, payment plans, and phone conversations to collect on delinquent accounts.
- Audit delinquent and non-compliant accounts.
- Handle payment plan requests from individual taxpayers and employers.
- Process individual and employer tax returns.
- Handle incoming calls as required.
The Tax Processor must meet the following requirements:
- 2+ years experience working in a similar role
- Willingness to comply with laws, rules, regulations and policies
- MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to type using 10-key and alpha-numeric
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check
Schedule:
For 6 months out of the year the schedule is M-F 7:30-4pm and the other 6 months the schedule is M-Th 6:30am-4pm (with occassional 6am start as needed).
