DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for a wide range of advanced, diverse, and confidential management and administrative duties in a Family Office/C-Suite environment requiring sound technical and communication/interpersonal skills.  The sensitivity of this position requires confidentiality in all services and functions provided, with moderate authority to exercise independent judgment and resolve problems to achieve High Family Office and owner objectives.  

Responsibilities include support for, and interaction with, the highest level of ownership and governance across the High organization, including interaction with Chairs of the Boards, Directors, Trustees, and Committee members, and other executive team members.  Activities include but are not limited to:  understanding corporate governance and ownership structures; production and maintenance of governance documents, including Meeting Agendas, Resolutions, Minutes, and presentations; planning and logistical coordination for all meetings and events, including coordination and preparation of presentation materials and posting same to the Board Portal; and processing and recording of Board and Committee fees and travel expenses.

Duties will be carried out in a way that is professional and cohesive with the mission and vision of the organization, and in line with The High Philosophy.  Under limited supervision, this position provides diverse management, administrative, and personal support by performing a wide range of routine and non-routine duties concurrently with ease and professionalism.  Individual will be confident, proactive, flexible, and adaptable in daily activities.  This position relies on broad experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities also include tasks as assigned that promote achievement of High Family Office objectives. 

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, along with an understanding of legal entity structures and corporate governance.  Eight to ten years progressive administrative experience is preferred, with a minimum of three years' experience in a professional office environment.  The position requires: * Advanced level of understanding of Microsoft Office products and software, particularly PowerPoint * Effective use of the Internet * Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must be detail-oriented * Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, corporate/C-suite environment * Confidentiality is critical to this role

LICENSE, CERTIFICATES OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Valid driver's license.  Pennsylvania Notary Public preferred.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS (UPWARD AND DOWNWARD): Reports directly to the Associate Director, HFO; but performs day-to-day functions for others in the Family Office, including but not limited to Chair Emeritus of the High companies, Chair and Vice Chair of High Holdings Corporation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Interact with all levels of ownership and the High organization on behalf of High Family Office. Maintain complete confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information. * Manage multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously and with attention to detail. Prepare complex documents, including compiling and organizing information to compose, prepare, and edit communication in a professional and accurate manner across all levels of the High organization.  * In coordination with the Chair of the Board and President of High Holdings Corporation, prepare Board and Committee Meeting Agendas, Resolutions, Minutes and other corporate governance documents and presentations for meetings, including the Annual Shareholder Meeting, posting to the Board Portal a d following up on action items with appropriate parties, as required. Coordinate scheduling, communications, prep timeline, and logistics for Board and Committee Meetings and events, including Board Dinners, lunches and refreshments, travel, education and management sessions, and onboarding of new members.  Coordinate assembly of presentation materials, ensuring that formatting standards are adhered to and information is accurate. * Provide administrative support to all aspects of the work of the High Family Office, including Leadership Center programming, displays, and event planning that achieve stated mission and vision for the Center. * Manage extremely active business and personal calendar/schedules for the High Family Office team members to ensure the executive is operating efficiently; perform functions that do not require their direct attention and attempt to keep their time as uncluttered and free as possible; research and collect information necessary to facilitate decision-making, both by assignment and as required. * Maintain a comprehensive and current knowledge of the organizational structure, personnel, and their functions within the organization. * Demonstrate the tenets of The High Philosophy, abide by the requirements of the Code of Ethics, and support the policies of the organization as a responsible employee, providing a model for others to follow.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Duties performed by the job which are not critical to the successful completion of the essential job functions: * Serve on various company committees, as appointed. * Promote the interests and favorable image of the High organization, notably High Family Office. Support and sustain the value of The High Philosophy. * All other related duties as assigned.
