Robert Half Controller in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Description We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee our company's financial operations in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role involves leading the financial operations and accounting function, collaborating with various department leaders to ensure the company meets its financial goals. The Controller will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies and managing a team of financial professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and manage staff responsible for the financial operations/accounting function.

• Extensively interact with accounting staff and other department leaders to provide direction and support for activities within the Finance/Accounting Department.

• Lead the Corporate Accounting and Budgeting, AR, AP, Payroll, Treasury/Cash Management, Procurement, and Risk Management functions within the Finance Department.

• Develop short- and long-term goals for the Finance Team in collaboration with the CFO.

• Serve as an integral part of the company's Operational Leadership Team and Finance team, and serve as back-up to the CFO when necessary.

• Oversee the preparation of the Annual Budget process and facilitate all quarterly financial and budget reviews.

• Coordinate the month-end close process, perform analysis of organizational finances, and ensure accurate and timely disbursements.

• Maintain financial systems and work with staff and leadership to ensure financial processes, systems, and reporting support the achievement of organizational goals.

• Collaborate with various departments such as Property Accounting, Property Management, Asset Management, and Real Estate Development to advance organizational goals.

• Prepare reports and documents for the CFO, Executive Leadership, and Board of Directors in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Auditing

• Experience with Budget Processes Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and requirements

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage various Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes
