SUMMARY: The SAP Security Analyst, will collaborate closely with internal IT and business associates to support the SAP landscape across S/4, HANA, MDG, FIORI, ECC, BW, BTP, IBP, GRC, Datasphere, Solution Manager, IAS/IPS etc. He/She will be responsible for projects, day to day support and continuous improvements. This role will also proactively identify and implement improvements in the security design and processes to optimize the environment, improve responsiveness and provide excellent customer experience. This position would also work closely with audit/sox team and requires exposure to industry best practices, technology trends and the ability to balance security with business enabling capabilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports account setup and maintenance, role development, authorization management in SAP landscape
Performs on-going review, analysis and plans for improving SAP system security conforming to SAP documented best-practices and functional needs.
Documents issues, gaps, resolution activities with root-cause analysis
Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions data design and migration.
Participate in Design workshops and interface with functional workstreams (RTR, PTP, OTC), the S/4 leadership team, System Integrators (SI) and more to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, master data elements, and functionality identifying risk mitigation opportunities. Implementing roadmap for operational controls during roll outs.
Collaborates with internal functional application management, solution and technical teams to streamline security related changes.
Experience with SOX and audit best practices. Maintains a best practice model for security design and deployment
Maintains and develops Audit controls to ensure the governance and compliance of the systems is maintained
Be the owner and performer of the controls, such as reviewing user access and critical roles, and perform annual control testing
Works with Internal auditors and fulfil any data requests in a timely manner.
Remediate and mitigate any audit issues as needed.
Monitor, investigate, and report on security events and incidents,
Builds, maintain and communicates appropriate SAP security policies, processes and procedures.
Manage the change management process for SAP security related changes like role creation/changes.
Assists in the development and maintenance of SAP security policies, standards, and procedures; and assist in resolving security policy issues and implementing security procedures.
Maintains and updates Role-Matrix, Security Runbooks.
Provides visibility and reporting into SLAs, trends, root cause and opportunities.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of experience supporting account setup and maintenance, role development, authorization management in SAP
Experience reviewing plans for improving SAP system security conforming to SAP documented best-practices and functional needs.
Participating on project teams as the SAP security design SME
Experience with SOX and audit best practices
Experience working with Internal auditors
Experience building and maintaining SAP security policies, processes and procedures.

Daily production Support: - Daily monitoring of production systems, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements.
Pay: $80,000 - $105,000 a year*
*The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
